All of the physicians at Asheville Breast Center are board-certified radiologists with a sub-specialty in women’s imaging. As a division of Asheville Radiology, Asheville Breast Center is one of the only practices featuring radiologists that are dedicated mammography readers.
   
  Dr. Walker J. Brown is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta. He completed residencies at Memorial Medical Center and Medical College of Georgia in Savannah, and finished his fellowship training at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham. Dr. Brown has been with Asheville Radiology since 1992.
   
  Dr. John F. Ende graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Florida. Dr. Ende joined Asheville Radiology in 2001.
   
  Dr. Sheri W. Fleeman is a graduate of the Emory University School of Medicine. She completed her residency and an Abdominal Imaging Fellowship at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. Dr. Fleeman joined Asheville Radiology in 2001.
   
  Dr. Timothy J. Gallagher is a graduate of Louisiana State University. He completed his
residency at Letterman General Hospital in San Francisco, California. He joined Asheville Radiology in 1976.
   
Dr. Janet B. Garrett is a graduate of Cornell University Medical College. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Garrett joined Asheville Radiology in 1990.

Our Mammography Technologists

All of the Asheville Breast Center technologists are registered in radiology and mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, a representative of the American College of Radiology, and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. The combined years of service of our technologists is more than 100 years, with many of them serving Asheville Breast Center for 20-plus years.
