  Dr. Frank S. Jagoda is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He has been with Asheville Radiology since 1989.
   
  Dr. D. Thomas Milton is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Memphis. He completed his residencies at both Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, where he also served as Chief Resident., and at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. Dr. Milton received fellowship training in Interventional Radiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Services. He has been with Asheville Radiology since 1986.
   
  Dr. Charles T. Rowe is a graduate of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, and completed his residency at the University of Virginia Hospital. He joined Asheville Radiology in 1978.
   
  Dr. James A. Shivers is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and completed his residency at North Carolina Memorial Hospital – also in Chapel Hill – where he served as chief resident. Dr. Shivers has been with Asheville Radiology since 1977.
   
Dr. Helen H. Wiest is Medical Director of Asheville Imaging Center and of Asheville Breast Center. She is a graduate of the Medical College of South Carolina in Charleston. She completed both her residency and her fellowship training at Duke University Medical Center. She joined Asheville Radiology in 1990.
 
  Dr. Robert C. Youngblood is a graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical School in Jackson. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency in Montgomery, Alabama, followed by a radiology residency at LSU. He received fellowship training at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Youngblood joined Asheville Radiology in 2002.
   
 

Our Mammography Technologists

All of the Asheville Breast Center technologists are registered in radiology and mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, a representative of the American College of Radiology, and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. The combined years of service of our technologists is more than 100 years, with many of them serving Asheville Breast Center for 20-plus years.
